Our Curriculum

Our curriculum is aligned with the American Common Core Standards and Next Generation Science Standards which are approved by the US Department of Education. Inspirational Figures to JCSIS

George Washington Carver

George Washington Carver invented over 300 ways to use peanuts. He also created hundreds of uses for soybeans, pecans and sweet potatoes. Among some of his inventions are peanut butter, pavement, bleach, and mayonnaise.

Dr. Mae Jemison

In 1992, Dr. Mae Jemison became the first African American woman to go to space. She embarked on a 8-day mission and while in space, experimented to learn more about bone cells.
